Description
Older reel-to-reel tapes may contain dried-out or failed splices, broken tape, or deteriorated leader that must be repaired for safe playback and restoration. Minor splice and leader repairs are included with restoration at no additional charge. The $25 repair charge applies only when a tape requires extensive splice or leader repair.
This service may be added to your restoration deposit order if you know your tape requires extensive splice or leader repair. Otherwise, Thundertone Audio will add the charge to your final invoice only if extensive repair is required after inspection.
